Be Careful
I am a stepdad. After my wife and I got married and moved in together, I found out that my stepdaughter sleepwalks. I stay up later than my wife, and so I was in the front room watching television around midnight.
My stepdaughter, who was probably around four at the time, came out of her room and walked up to me. I asked her what was wrong, and she said, “You need to be careful”. I said, “Careful of what?”
Then, she patted me on the knee and walked back to her room. I had no idea what had just happened so I got up to go check on her. She was out cold on her bed. I talked to my wife about it in the morning, and she said it’s completely normal.
We’ve lived together for over five years now and I’m quite used to it. At that point, though, I felt like I was in the first thirty minutes of a horror movie and that it wasn’t going to end well for me. Story credit: Reddit / narcolepsyinc
