Strange Tone of Voice
My three-year-old niece, whenever apologizing, says, “I’m sorry,” in a really low, gravelly voice. It sounds very creepy and threatening, but over the past year it’s become clear she is being sincere and trying to mimic a low voice to convey the seriousness.
I find it funny, but I’ve tried to express to her that the tone of her voice might make people think she was saying sorry sarcastically or meanly. She doesn’t get it yet. Story credit: Reddit / [deleted]
