The officers seemed excited
As Lauren was telling the officers more and more, the faces of the officers seemed to light up, and big smiles appeared on all of their faces. Before she was done, some officers even started to high-five each other. Lauren could not understand what was happening and felt very offended that they were not taking her seriously by the looks of things.
