Stepping Up
John couldn’t seem to get away from the sound, and he didn’t know what to do. He had no idea what it was, so he kept walking. Then it came to a halt, but John understood there was something else in those woods.
John became aware that he was approaching a loud shrieking sound that appeared to be made by a person. He opted to get closer because he wasn’t sure. Nobody could have predicted what happened next.
