The Search
John decided that before setting her free, he would try to find the pups in question. He examined the area until he spotted what he was looking for. There was a den close by, he knew that he needed to try and lure them out.
He tried making noises that their mother would, and soon after, he saw four little pups stumble out towards him. They looked very young, but once their mother saw what he was doing, she stood straight up and the young raced towards her.
