As Michael got closer to the great beast, he realized that there was something wrong with it. The crocodile didn’t seem able to move, even though getting up and out of the water as it did would have taken a great amount of strength. It seemed like the animal was moving much more slowly than he had seen other crocodiles move, almost as if it was moving in slow motion.
