It Followed Their Lead
The crocodile immediately started moving in a way that it had not been able to before, as if it immediately started feeling better after the surgery. The villagers a few feet ahead of him placed the fish they had gathered towards the river’s edge, and the crocodile followed their lead, gobbling up the food they put out for him. Within minutes, the stream of water was flowing again and the crops were no longer in danger.
