Iris Sent Her Husband a Photo
In response to Thomas’s good news, Iris sent her husband a photo of herself smiling and relaxed. It was a normal photo, a beautiful selfie of the woman that he loved, but Thomas quickly realized something at a first glance that was out of the ordinary. And this detail made his heart sink in his chest. Sure, the photo was beautiful, but there was something missing that Thomas wished that he could make right, and it proved that Iris was feeling the exact same way that Thomas had felt just the night before, and there truly was no chance of the two finding a way to keep their marriage alive and thriving.
