The officer greeted him with a smile and said, “We’ve had some complaints about what you’ve been doing, sir.” Noah explained that he had been building the boat for his father. “Oh, I see, well, as long as you’re not building anything dangerous.”
With that, the officer turned around and walked back to his car. He drove away, and Noah breathed a sigh of relief. Now he could turn around and look at his handiwork. The best part was his mother’s reaction.
