During the confession Vance told Steve that his older sister Joanie was actually his biological mother. Steve listened; mouth agape was his friend continued to fill in the gaps. If Joanie was really his mother, who were the people he thought of as his parents for the last eighteen years?
After the revelation Steve didn’t know who he was anymore. He didn’t know what to make of the information or what any of it meant. Then Vance finished explaining and Steve had only one question.
