Nick still afraid
As Dennis and Nick walked back, Dennis couldn’t think of anything but what could be in that box. Then he looked at Nick and saw that Nick was still frightened by the skeleton he just saw. Dennis understood that it scared him. It gave him chills himself, so why not his 8-year-old son.
