Man Dives Into Mud To Save Elephant, Then Mom Comes

Animals In the Wild

While there are animals in captivity and under the control of humans, fortunately, there remain those that grow in the wild and are generally left alone. Such wild elephants have very limited exposure to humans. Typically, they are hesitant and distrustful of our kind and are able to function on their own. However, while the general rule of the wild is to leave animals alone, there are certain situations when it is necessary to step in.

In this case, it involves a baby elephant trapped in a predicament. Because their herd had no choice but to call for human help, they eventually gave in after succeeding at avoiding contact for a long time. When the team of rescuers saw the scene that they were led to, they knew they had to do something.
