Nightmares
As he lay in bed thinking about the day’s events, he knew it would be impossible to fall asleep. His mind was filled with speculation as to what was on the other end of the rusty chain that led deep into the earth. He had only told his closest friends about his find, but he was worried that someone else would stumble on it before he could get a closer look. His mind began to wander, bringing some unwelcome thoughts with it.
