When he’d first spotted the oddity, Lucas had hoped it was another of Liberty’s secret messages that had been exposed. It would have been an exciting find. But what he’d discovered had nothing to do with the lady or her makers.
But it was a message. Except, in place of the significance that Liberty’s secrets had, this message was out of place. It had no deeper meaning.
