Lucas instantly recognized the area – right by the staff door leading to the lady’s foot. He rushed over there immediately. The camera wasn’t covered anymore, but he spotted a large, dry piece of gum below it.
He picked the gum up, later sending it over to the detective leading the investigation. Patrols in the area were also ramped up in the hopes that someone might find another clue.
In the coming days, he was leading those patrols, particularly during the busiest hours.
