A Trash Link
The first patrol he went on, Lucas spotted a gum wrapper blowing around. He didn’t think too much of it; trash was nothing new at the statue. But then he saw it again on the second day. And the third.
Lucas began to wonder if there was a link between the vandalism and the gum wrapper. What other reason could there be for the same one to show up every day, especially such an uncommon brand?
It couldn’t just be a fluke; there had to be some connection.
