This only brought more questions. Were these criminals trying to mock Lucas? Why keep coming back and leaving clues? Why was Liberty the target of their crime; why not put the message elsewhere?
Lucas even debated whether his friends could be pranking him. They often teased him for his absolute dedication to his job. He wouldn’t be surprised if they did something like this.
