A Stranger
Alicia sat down behind the cash register, but she could not help but feel concerned when the strange man rushed toward the back of her store. She placed her finger near the panic button, which was located underneath the counter, but it did not make her feel calm.
She realized if things were to go south, everything would be over long before the police arrived. She could have never anticipated that the authorities would side with the stranger.
