Going Through The Motions
His day at work was the same as usual. Nothing truly engaged him, and everything followed the daily routine. Jonathan was going with the motions and had already summed the day up as another dull one.
He finished work at 4 PM and thought about his frozen TV dinner on his walk home. That’s when he heard the same barking he’d heard that morning.
