A Crooked Floorboard
He searched the entire house twice, but he found absolutely nothing. As he sat on a chair, staring into the room, he suddenly noticed that one of the floorboards was crooked. He suddenly realized that it had been creaking every time he walked over it, and he thought to himself, “How could I have missed that?!” He knew what to do now!
