Upon reaching his destination, he disembarked from the boat and cautiously stepped onto the concrete surrounding the house, testing it with care to ensure its stability. Much to his surprise, the solid ground beneath his feet felt just as secure as it would on regular land. John experienced no sense of standing on water, allowing him to confidently approach the door.
