What Was Going On?
Alicia could not help but glance at the monitor every few seconds as she rang up item after item. She spotted him yet again, loitering behind the long line of customers.
Alicia was stunned. Her store had never been this busy before. She found it peculiar that the man did not queue with the rest of the customers. What was he doing then? She tried her best to deal with each customer as swiftly as possible and waited patiently to see what the man was up to.
