Make no mistake about it, Billy the Kid was no hero. He was a highly wanted outlaw with a kill streak beginning at the young age of 17. By 21, it was said he had killed nearly 20 or more people, although the number is often disputed. In New Mexico, he had many enemies and very few friends.
