Getting It Medical Attention
Charlie’s team quickly fetched a tarp, and they all put in the effort to heave the dolphin onto it. They called the nearest veterinary clinic while they checked the animal for any injuries that would prevent it from swimming.
Luckily dolphins can be on land without suffocating because they are mammals and actually breathe air through their blowholes. But a dolphin should still never be out of the water for long.
