Fly-tipping is the illegal dumping of waste. It’s a crime that damages the environment, risks public health and costs taxpayers to clean up. Items most commonly dumped are things such as furniture, ovens, fridges. It is illegal to fly-tip with a potential of up to £50,000 ($63170) in fines in addition to a maximum prison sentence of five years and more.
