The average parent might punish their kids with time out or a grounding. But Bialik prefers to speak to her kids as if they were adults, explaining to them why what they did was wrong. By ensuring her kids are not afraid of her and have a rational understanding of their wrongdoing, Bialik hopes this will give her kids more self discipline as they get older.
