Some of Bialik’s parenting beliefs may come from her academic interests and success over the years. Despite also pursuing a career as an actor and media personality, Bialik also managed to obtain a PhD in neuroscience from the University of California, Los Angeles. As an undergrad, she minored in Hebrew and Jewish Studies.
