I have had several arguments with diabetics about Coke/Koolaid/Sweet Tea vs drinks made with artificial sugar. I tell them, look, don’t drink sugar.
If you have to have something like that, use an artificial sweetener. “No way! That stuff is poison! It will kill me!” Ma’am, your A1c is 14. Sugar is already killing you.
