17. Movie-Like
I dated a guy whose favorite movie was High Fidelity. He broke up with me after six months or so, and it was a little hard to take, but I got over it.
I didn’t see or hear from him again until a year later when he contacted me to say he wanted to talk before he moved away.
I guess I was curious, so I met him, and we caught up for 15 minutes, and he semi-apologized for being a jerkward. It was super weird.
I’m pretty sure he was so in love with that movie that he decided he, too, should meet up with any ex-girlfriend he had and talk about the breakup.
