We divorced in 2018.
We tried to continue the relationship afterward, but all he really wanted from me was financial and emotional security, not an actual partner. He started really drifting away in late 2019, and I finally ended it in mid-2021.
He was absolutely shaken that I was done with the relationship because I wasn’t getting a single thing I needed to be happy anymore.
