Into His Trap
Once they had the mattress in the back of the van, Chris faced the man and took out his wallet. There was a glint in his eye as he smiled kindly.
He grabbed a ten-dollar bill and offered it to the man, grateful for his assistance. Then he casually asked, “Where are you going with this thing anyway?”
Momentarily bewildered, the stranger fell straight into Chris’s trap.
