Military Funeral
The military buried the missing men from the mission three days later. The funeral was scheduled to take place two days after the tragedy, but had been postponed shortly. Doris called the military to enquire why the funeral was postponed.
She couldn’t reach anybody, so she had to wait for the military to explain. This was the first question surrounding her son’s death that she hoped to get answers for. She hoped the military would explain the delay, but realized that it was her responsibility to find out what was really going on.
