“I Knew It”
Doris was shocked when she opened the casket. She said, “I knew it,” calmly when seeing the inside of the casket despite her overpowering feelings. However, a tear fell as she spoke, revealing her loss and despair. Her brothers looked at the casket in horror, paralyzed.
The sight shocked and confused them. How? They closed the lid again, knowing they had to rebury the coffin to honor Bob’s memory and his final resting place. Doris and her siblings realized they had to be strong in their fight for justice despite their grief.
