Enough is Enough
John, tired of the harassment, spoke clean about his identity. As he was being escorted out, he begged the manager to perform one more favor for him: contact the restaurant’s owner. The abrupt manager was taken aback by this out-of-the-blue request.
He continued by saying he had been a regular at the eatery for a long time and had known the owner for years, but that he had lost his job when his company went down. Even if the manager never contacted the owner again, he would always remember him since all he wanted was a simple lunch.
