A Flash Of Silver
Her pulse began to beat quickly as she peered through the hole and noticed a flash of silver. She started to extend the hole, making it bigger so that her hand could fit in. Had she discovered junk or valuables? There was just one way to learn the answer.
She worked on it slowly and carefully until it was large enough for her to reach inside. She prepared herself by muttering, “Here goes.”
