Something Didn’t Seem Right
Laura gave her daughter a hug and whispered, “Have a great day at school I love you.” “I love you too, Mom!” Emily called out as she waved goodbye from the bus window. As Laura watched the bus disappear down the road, she couldn’t shake the nagging feeling that something was amiss. But she had no reason to think that her girl could be up to no good.
