Time For School
Laura got out of bed, put on her comfortable slippers, and strolled down the hallway to Emily’s bedroom. She quietly opened the door and couldn’t help but smile when she saw her daughter fast asleep, all wrapped up in blankets and surrounded by stuffed animals. Speaking softly, she gently woke Emily up saying, “Good morning, darling. It’s time for school.” Emily yawned and slowly sat up, still feeling a bit sleepy.
