What had started as a fun family outing had turned into a mixture of unfairness, humiliation, and anger. However, this wasn’t caused by unruly children, overpriced snacks, or pricey tickets at the gates.

Meet Madelyn Scheaffer

Madely Scheaffer is a dedicated mom from Odessa, Missouri. She does everything in her power to ensure that her family is well-cared for. However, during her 30s something happened that would change her entire world.

However, that day at the waterpark, seven years later, threatened to undo all her hard work.

Mustering Her Courage

It all started when Madelyn reached into a box and pulled out something she had never imagined she’d need again. She carefully lifted the long-unused bathing suit out of the box and put it on. She was very pleased to see that it still fit her.

However, despite how happy and proud she felt, she had no idea her day would end up with shame and her fighting for her rights.

All Eyes On Her

Madelyn saw no problem with her bikini, despite the fact that she was a tall and curvaceous woman. She fastened the bikini and slipped her dress on over it. She piled her family into the car and took them on a surprise trip to the nearby Adventure Oasis Water Park.

However, once she took off her dress at the park she became incredibly aware of all the stares and attention she was drawing.

Center Of Attention

All the attention made Madelyn feel rather self-conscious again and she decided to cover up with a towel despite the high number of scantily-clad people all around her.

She knew a lot of the men, including several of the park employees were staring at her so she tried her best to give them a warm smile despite her discomfort. However, when she saw them smiling back at her she had no idea that the police would soon arrive on the scene.
