In Terrible Condition
The abandoned puppy Kayne was rescued and taken to Breasta in November 2015. Unfortunately, he was in incredibly poor condition. Mange (a debilitating skin disease caused by parasitic mites) afflicted his severely emaciated body.
His breathing was labored, and he drooled excessively. He was also shaking so violently that he looked like he was convulsing. Rabid behavior would also be implied by his shaking. It became apparent to the staff that they were going to have to take extra precautions since he had the potential to kill anyone who touched him.
