Arabeans is a user who is also a teacher and shared their interesting classroom moments. She posted that whenever she takes classroom attendance, she asks the children a question instead of making them say “here”. In her one class, she asked the class to mention a fact they knew about the second world war as they were studying a book concerning the subject. One kid seemed to be more knowledgeable regarding the topic so she called him first.
She asked the student to explain to her what happened during that time. He presented to the class for more than 40 minutes, and the class was in awe. There were one or two boys who were playing on their iPads and he promptly asked them, “Excuse me, but why are you on your iPads? If it’s because you’re doing research, I can assure you that I know what I’m talking about.” He was only 12 years old!
