You Can’t Fire All of Us
Owner of the company was avoiding the meeting where I was to get my raise. I waited over two weeks. Finally told my Supervisor, I’m walking out the door if they don’t fix this.
They told me to go talk to him. I told them they were the Supervisors and it was their job to do that, not mine.
They did, and I got my raise by the end of the day. Why? Because I’m in an understaffed position at a job that is very difficult to fill.
If I left then the rest would have gone too. They knew that.
