They Swam Towards the Boat
The cubs had no idea what a boat was. From their perspective, this floating object represented hope. It could possibly be a land mass or there could be food on board that could keep them alive. They thought that maybe if they swam fast enough they could climb on it. So, they mustered up what little strength they had left and headed towards the boat. And the cubs’ adrenaline improved their whole situation.
