Carol tried to calm herself down before going downstairs to Lenia. She needed to talk to her daughter, but she also knew now wasn’t the best time. Moreover, she wanted Peter, Lenia’s father, to be aware of the situation first, and then, they would both sit down with Lenia and talk with the hope that their fears were null.
