One day, as Mrs. Singh glanced at Jenny, she noticed a black eye peeking out from beneath her sunglasses. Concerned for her well-being, Mrs. Singh approached Jenny during pickup time and asked if everything was alright.
Jenny, with a forced smile, quickly lied and explained that it had been a silly accident. But the careful teacher wasn’t easily fooled. She was genuinely concerned.
