Pretending to Cry
As Alana and Steve walked down the aisle as newlyweds, the atmosphere began to ease. While standing together before the priest to be declared man and wife, Alana observed Nancy’s tears in the front row. But due to her knowlege of Nancy’s behavior, Alana could tell that her sobs were merely for show. She had become familiar with the tell-tale signs of the woman’s phony displays of emotion.
