Distracting Himself
Alex sighed. He just wanted all this pain to be over. He closed his laptop and turned to Cody. “Let’s just do something fun, alright? I want to forget about this for a while.” Cody nodded his head.
They played video games for a few hours and then went to bed. As Alex’s eyes were slowly closing, he was suddenly awoken by Cody yelling something out loud.
