A Newfound Sense Of Hope
He went to bed that night with a newfound sense of hope. Hope that his future might be a little brighter than it looked. The next morning, he drove to his mother’s house and rang the bell with confidence.
“I want to see Father’s will,” he said with his head held high. His mother irritatedly looked at him and simply said, “No,” before closing the door in his face.
