Alex rang the doorbell again. “You cannot withhold this information from me, I have a right to know what Father wrote in his will!” he yelled through the closed door.
He banged his fists against the door, but his mother ignored it. Alex could see her silhouette lingering in the hallway, she was clearly hearing what he was saying.
