Nervous Energy
The judge looked over the case and told Alex she would get back to him within a day or two. Now, all Alex had to do was wait. As he drove home with Cody next to him in the car, he couldn’t help but smile.
It was probably all the nervous energy building up inside him from the past days, but it felt kind of relieving.
