Everywhere Seemed Empty
She entered with enthusiasm, only to be met by a disconcerting emptiness. Her footsteps echoed throughout the empty rooms. Nobody was at home. She questioned how they could be anywhere. She tried checking the rooms and outside the house, but she didn’t see anyone.
Her thoughts were spinning with ideas. Are they okay? She observed the silence surrounding her as questions whirled through her mind. She went right into his room to see if she could find what she had come for, despite her initial loneliness.
